The State of the Global Islamic Report 2020/21 has officially launched in Australia, earlier today. Hosted by MECA Collective and Crescent Wealth in partnership with Salaam Getaway, DinarStandard and Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre, the online event took place at 6:20 pm AEDT.
The conference showcased a panel discussion by the leading figures of the industry, with segments focused on Australia’s Islamic finance and investment opportunities and key report insights of the market.
The welcome remarks was given by CEO of Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre, Mr. Abdulla Al Awar while the Master of Ceremony was Ms. Iman Ali, Research Analyst of DinarStandard.
Dr. Sayd Farook, Senior Partner of DinarStandard and Mr. Rafi-uddin Shikoh, CEO of DinarStandard gave an overview of the key report insights and Professor Talal Yassine, Managing Director of Crescent Wealth highlighted on the Australia’s Islamic finance and investment opportunity.
The panel discussion included speakers such as Nirvan Jamshidpey—Co-Founder of MECA Collective, Zulfiye Tufa—Founder of ModMarkit, Peter Gould—Founder of Gould Studio, Calisha Bennett—Founder of Developing Diamonds and Zain Ismail Kazi—Co-Founder of MECA Collective.
